"......These are "Musical Impressions by Klaus Rothkegel" - the subtitle of the album - that Boris Tesic presents to the listener. Tesic is well known to AG readers as the author of the classic workshop. Klaus Rothkegel was born in 1961, himself a guitarist and trained singer and a diligent composer. In addition to numerous vocal works, he also dedicates a good part of his work to the guitar. The composer himself describes his pieces as "sound poems", and this description appears in view of the often very delicate, atmospheric moments of this music very suitable.

Title  such as "Dark Night", "Traffic Light", "The Angel Listens" or the title track dedicated to the composer's wife underline this. Rothkegel is stylistically open in many directions: There is a very worth listening "Hommage à Carulli", which is in the spirit of early romanticism sounds, or the "10 Miniatures in Popular Styles", which make the composer a world traveller. Overall, the pieces are rather short miniatures that go softly over the ears and get to the soul, although for example the two "Capricci" contain quite virtuoso elements that after require a skilled guitarist.Boris Tesic's representations of this music are excellent: sensitive, with an eye on details, finely dynamic  and technically sovereign he plays the Rothkegel compositions. The good recording, which supports the intimate character of the music, does the rest to round off this beautiful, and therefore recommendable, album."

".......I was immediately enthusiastic about the CD Anette's Dream. The diversely composed character pieces by Klaus Rothkegel, in which he processed diverse influences from classical, baroque music, jazz, folklore, etc., are very appealing and were performed by the top-class Guitarist Boris Tesić recorded masterfully. After listening to the CD several times, I began to play the pieces myself. In addition to technically demanding works, there are also compositions that are easier to play and have a high musical content, which are also suitable for advanced students. The CD is included produced with first-class recording technology and will not only be of interest to guitarists, but will certainly appeal to a wide audience with its atmospheric guitar music and will find its place of honor on the CD shelf of many music lovers."

".....Mr. Rothkegel and his wife recently visited me to listen to my Celesta loudspeakers. Among other things, we put on the CD "Anette's Dream", which I have since bought. Even though I'm definitely not a professional music critic ", I have the impression that the CD with the compositions by Mr. Rothkegel deserves attention. At least I've been listening to it again and again in the last few days and I think that all the pieces are of high compositional quality. I particularly like some pieces. The whole thing is rounded off by a really professional guitarist, as well as good sound quality and a reasonable selling price of the CD."

.....the love and enthusiasm for music paired with their well-founded wealth of knowledge and experience, with which Klaus Rothkegel and Boris Tesic appeared in an interview in summer 2021, is also clearly reflected in the 28 music titles of the new published CD "Anette's Dream".

In his compositions for the acoustic guitar solo, Klaus Rothkegel succeeds in combining elements of classical music with a wide range of modern styles in a very catchy and pleasant way.

With his soulful and passionate playing, Boris Tesic brings out the stylistic variety in the compositions as well as the unimagined sound spectrum of the guitar in a remarkable way in a highly professional way.

An impressive listening pleasure!"

".......Dreams are diverse. The CD "Anette's Dream" offers exactly this artistic diversity. Boris Tesic plays compositions by Klaus Rothkegel. His pieces are titled "Impressionen". And that's it. As colorful as dreams, mysterious and yet clear. Playful and melodic. Surprising and stimulating. In the end, there is a good feeling. And the memory of technically brilliant pieces of music. You can rarely repeat a dream. You want to hear this CD again and again."
